Jim Johnston

Mr. Jim Johnston is the Chief Technical Officer of the Customer Premise & Enterprise (CPE) business at Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. Mr. Johnston has been in the semiconductor and systems business for over 23 years and has held a number of technical and executive level positions including Vice President of Engineering of the MSA business at Mindspeed, Executive Director of the Media Signal Processing Center of Excellence in the Personal Computing Division of Conexant Systems, and a Rockwell Engineering Fellow in Rockwell's Digital Communications Division. He holds over 17 US Patents, a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, and Master's in International Business Administration from University of California, Irvine and California State University, Fullerton.

Malachy Moynihan

Mr. Malachy Moynihan is currently Cisco's vice president of video product strategy. He joined Cisco in June 2000, through the acquisition of InfoGear Technology Corporation, where he was vice president of operations. Moynihan was directly responsible for the development of a consumer product strategy that culminated in the Linksys acquisition by Cisco. Following the Linksys acquisition, Moynihan was appointed the VPGM for the home networking business unit at Cisco-Linksys LLC, and served in this capacity until late 2007. Prior to InfoGear, Mr. Moynihan was the director of operations for the Performa (consumer) product group at Apple Computer. He also worked for Silicon Graphics Inc. to develop their consumer products group. Earlier in his career, he worked in research and business development for several international companies, and the Irish government. Mr. Moynihan holds a degree in electrical engineering from the National University of Ireland and has completed post-graduate studies in technology, business and finance at INSEAD, France and Ohio State University.

Kenichi Kawasaki

Mr. Kenichi Kawasaki is the General Manager of Millimeter - Wave Systems Development for the Sony Corporation. Mr. Kawasaki began his career with the Sony Corporation, Tokyo in 1983, and was honored in 1989 as a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin. From 1996 through 2005, Mr. Kawasaki served in various leadership roles at Sony Electronics Inc. in San Diego, California. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kawasaki led the product design and development of broadcasting satellite receivers and digital televisions, and was responsible for major research on wireless technologies. Mr. Kawasaki holds Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kyushu University in Japan.

David L. Lyon, Ph.D.

Dr. David L. Lyon is founder and CEO of Sage Strategies, a management and technology consulting firm. From 1998 to 2004, Dr. Lyon served as CEO of Silicon Wave, a startup company that pioneered Bluetooth technology for the cellular and personal computer markets. In 2004, Dr. Lyon successfully facilitated the acquisition of Silicon Wave by RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ: RFMD), and subsequently served as the VPGM of RFMD's wireless connectivity business unit. From 1987 through 1993, Dr. Lyon was founder and CEO of Pacific Communications Sciences (PCSI), a company that pioneered digital cellular and voice processing technologies. In 1993, Dr. Lyon and his team negotiated the acquisition of PCSI by Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ: CRUS), and profitably grew the business to an annual revenue run rate of $140 million in 1995. Dr. Lyon earned his Bachelor, Masters, and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Professor Hongliang Hu

Professor Hongliang Hu is a distinguished executive, scholar and diplomat credited for growing China's semiconductor industry, and has received numerous national honors and awards from China's President Hu Jintao and former President Jiang Zemin for his achievements and service, including his role as the General Consul of the Chinese Consulate in New York, and the Director of the China Group Science Division of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In 2000, as Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co., Ltd., Professor Hu was instrumental in helping establish the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), China's first and premier semiconductor foundry. After successfully nurturing and solidifying China's semiconductor base, Professor Hu spearheaded the government's initiative for developing China's high-tech zones and led the development of the renowned Shanghai Pudong Software Park. Under his business management, Professor Hu grew this Park into one of the most profitable software business and export centers in China. Consequently, this Park was awarded the distinctions of "National Software Industrial Base" and "National Software Export Base." Professor Hu now serves as Chairman of the Board for the Shanghai Data Solution Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Affairs Consultative Committee and Chairman of the Pudong Information Infrastructure Development Research Consulting Center. Professor Hu also holds executive positions in various industry associations, as well as a distinguished membership to the IT Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Government. Furthermore, Professor Hu serves as an Adjunct Professor at the prestigious University of Science and Technology of China and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Professor Hu graduated from the esteemed University of Science and Technology of China, Department of Technical Physics, and directed various university and national science laboratories. As a scholar, Professor Hu has been received as a visiting scientist at leading research centers around the world.

John Ocampo

Mr. John Ocampo is the co-founder and President of GaAs Labs LLC, a semiconductor private equity fund based in California, and serves as Chairman of GaAs Labs' portfolio company, M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc., a leading supplier of semiconductors, active and passive components and subassemblies for radio frequency (RF), microwave and millimeter wave applications. Mr. Ocampo also serves on the Board of Directors for Ubiquiti Networks, Inc., a company that designs, manufactures and sells innovative broadband wireless solutions worldwide. Prior to creating GaAs Labs, Mr. Ocampo co-founded Sirenza Microdevices, Inc., a supplier of radio frequency semiconductors and related components for the commercial communications, consumer and aerospace, defense and homeland security equipment markets. While leading Sirenza through a successful IPO and eventual sale to RF Micro Devices, Inc., Mr. Ocampo served at various times in a number of key roles, including President and CEO, CTO and Chairman. Prior to co-founding Sirenza, Mr. Ocampo served as General Manager at Magnum Microwave, an RF component manufacturer, and as Engineering Manager at Avantek, a telecommunications engineering company later acquired by Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Ocampo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Santa Clara University.
