Mike Neshat - President & CEO

An accomplished semiconductor industry veteran with over 25 years of executive management, marketing, sales, and engineering experience, Mike has served in executive positions for several successful start-ups including Fresco Microchip, WyLinx Technologies, Synad Technologies, and NxtWave Communications. He has also held senior marketing and engineering management positions with Rockwell Semiconductor, GEC Plessey Semiconductor, Silicon Systems, and Toppan Electronics.

Mike received his BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, and his MBA from the University of La Verne.

Oleksandr Gorbachov, Ph.D. - CTO & Chief Scientist

Oleksandr (Alex) brings 27 years of experience in the design and development of high-speed and wideband analog circuits (MMICs, RFICs, GaAs & Silicon Based RF and analog chips), microwave/millimeter-wave circuits, systems, sub-systems, RF Systems/sub-systems/architecture/circuits/modules, and RF devices. A highly respected innovator, Alex has served in a variety of senior scientist capacities for companies including STMicroelectronics, Synad Technologies, Gatax Technology, Hexawave, and ORION Research Institute.

Alex received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Kiev Polytechnic Institute and holds numerous patents.

Ping Peng, Ph.D. - COO and Sr. Vice President

Ping Peng has extensive experience in R&D, systems engineering, manufacturing operation, business development, and program management in the field of antenna and wireless components and systems. Over the past 20 years, he has held senior engineering and management positions at AMP-Tyco Electronics, Foxconn Electronics, Pan International, Homer Technology, and Maxsys Technologies.

Ping holds 13 issued and 7 pending patents in the wireless components, antenna and sub-system fields. Ping received his BSEE and MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Xian Jiaotong University, China. He earned his Ph.D. in Microwave Materials from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania.

Hal Hikita, MS, MBA - CFO and VP Strategic Planning

Hal has over 21 years of engineering, operations, product management & marketing, and business development in various engineering fields including active controls systems, multidisciplinary simulation and optimization, and enterprise software. Prior to joining RFaxis, Hal held several senior management positions with P&L responsibilities at MSC Software Corporation, and was a major force driving the growth of the company's core business through mergers & acquisitions, global business development, and vendor management. Hal also held senior R&D positions at PDA Engineering Inc. and the Boeing Company. In addition to his corporate experience, Hal started-up various software companies, and has considerable management consulting experience with respect to operations management, change management, PLM, and process reengineering. Hal earned his MS and MBA degrees at the University of Southern California.

Yongxi Qian, Ph.D. - VP Marketing

Yongxi has over 15 years of extensive research, teaching and product development experience in RF, microwave and millimeter-wave engineering, and the wireless communications industry. Yongxi was most recently director of RF Engineering at Microsemi Corporation AMSG Group, where he played an instrumental role in establishing one of the world's most reputable GaAs MMIC design groups serving the wireless LAN industry. A senior member of the IEEE and author/co-author of over a half dozen books/book chapters and more than 200 publications, Yongxi has won numerous technical awards, including IEEE IMS and European EuMC Paper Awards, a NASA Class I Award and a Japan Microwave Prize. Yongxi received his Ph.D. from the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, Japan.

Romeo Kharileh - VP, Technology & Manufacturing Operations

Romeo has over 23 years of engineering, operations, sales, and marketing experience at electronic industry leaders including Honeywell, QuickTurn Systems, Bull, Cadence Design Systems, Chrysalis, Valence Semiconductor, and several pioneering electronic start-up ventures. Romeo's expertise include complex Mixed Signal/RFIC SoC design, flows, methodologies, EDA tools development & support, manufacturing and operation, test development, product engineering, quality and reliability engineering, foundry & IP relations, manufacturing planning, document control systems, and successfully bringing revolutionary products to market. Prior to joining RFaxis, Romeo owned and managed Silicon Artist, a reputable Mixed Signal/RFIC SoC design engineering consulting firm in Orange County, California.

Romeo holds MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer System Engineering.
