RFX5020 Product Brief
The RFX5020 is a fully integrated, single-chip, single-die RFeIC (RF Front-end Integrated Circuit) which incorporates all the RF functionality needed for dual-band wireless communications. The RFX5020 architecture integrates the PAs, LNAs, Transmit and Receive switching circuitry, the associated matching networks, and the harmonic filters all in a CMOS single-chip, single-die device. This RFeIC is designed for use in 802.11n/a/b/g applications operating at both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Combining superior performance, high sensitivity and efficiency, low noise, small form factor, and low cost, RFX5020 is the perfect solution for the dual-band, single-antenna applications, and an ideal building block for MIMO applications. The RFX5020 requires minimal external components including only the external power supply bypass, the desired band-pass filters for the receive paths, and optional harmonic filters. The antenna port contains a built-in diplexer and the PA power detect circuits are integrated.
