RFX5020 Product Brief

RFX5020 is a fully integrated, single-chip, single-die RFeIC (RF Front-end Integrated Circuit) which integrates two linear OFDM PAs, two LNAs with by-pass mode, Transmit and Receive switches, a 2.4/5GHz diplexer, associated matching networks, power detectors and harmonic filters all in a CMOS device. This RFeIC is designed for use in IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band WLAN applications operating at both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

Combining superior performance, high sensitivity and efficiency, low noise, small form factor, and low cost, RFX5020 targets dual-band, single-antenna platforms, but can also be used as a building block for MIMO applications.

Although RFX5020 has an integrated diplexer that can be used to combine the 2.4/5GHz signals into a single dual-band antenna, it also provides the option to access 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals independently in case two single-band antennas will be used for 2.4GHz and 5GHz respectively.
